‘Unconsumed’, 2023
.
‘Unconsumed’ is a cross-generational, multi-disciplinary exhibition championing East Anglian artists, generously supported by the East Anglia Art Fund.
Co-curated by Georgia Green and Eleanor Rodwell.
The aim of the exhibition was to break down perceived boundaries between exhibitors, bringing artists together from different disciplines, generations and backgrounds. With an emphasis on giving self-taught artists and those from a non-traditional creative trajectory a supportive foundation inside East Anglia’s thriving art scene.
With nearly 100 artists on display, this show was an opportunity for our exhibitors to present work made during or in response to the pandemic, highlighting the importance of creativity during lockdown and how making is a very human response to crisis.
