This edition is a response to a temporary home in Dartmoor at the start of 2022. A wash of heavy pigment filled with autumnal colours, grey skies, warm interiors and open fires. Wilderness leaning against shabby grandeur; rain touching soft tiles; a dream about it a tiger revealing a slice of preserved childhood. Here the sea clifftops touch the forest floor, and a sensation of sanctuary resounds within and without my gentle house.
