A sustainably produced risograph print made sustainably with soya-based inks and pressed on archival paper, 2022.

In this print Georgia made a conscious effort to naively and rapidly cut texture into each layer, playfully challenging the way she usually builds subtle levels of colour. As a result the grain of the soya-based inks becomes naturalised a step further, suggesting the organic irregularities and sharp contrasts peculiar to woodblock printmaking. Each line, mark and dent was left purposefully on the final colour stencils to reflect the irreversibility of traditionally carved relief blocks. Snow flurries turn to dusty fibres, form dissolves into colourful radiation and branches splinter into pale shards.
